Why it matters
Dollar Donation Club brings climate action to the arcade at Xanadu, linking gameplay to funding for ocean plastic removal. Players compete for a place in a ten-person knockout tournament before the evening shifts to DJ-led roller skating—a social alternative to the week's panels and conferences.
Notes
Impact Arcade Tournament: September 23, 5–8 pm, with the top-ten knockout at 7 pm. SKATE FOR THE PLANET: 8 pm–midnight. The full event runs September 23 at 5 pm through September 24 at 12 am, New York time. Arcade access and tournament participation are free with RSVP; skate rental costs extra. Refer to DICE for age restrictions and entry requirements.
